One of the three small islands in the gulf of Tolo in Argolis, is Koronisi, which is only in a small distance from the harbor.On top of Koronisi we see the small church of the Twelve Apostles, built after 1830, when the first refugees from Crete settled down in the area.

The view to the small church from the cafeterias and bars of Tolo is marvelous. After dawn, the church on the rock is embellished with lights, shining over the sea.Koronisi (or Koronida) can only be reached by boat or pedalo, which can be rented. At the beach of Tolo.  Experienced swimmers can also swim from the beach of Tolo to the island.
